Dr. Abid Nazeer MD, FASAM is a practicing psychiatrist with double board certifications in both psychiatry and addiction medicine. He currently serves as the Senior Medical Advisor for Symetria Recovery with more than 13 years of thought leadership in psychiatric medicine.
After initially serving as Chief Resident at Louisiana State University, Dr. Nazeer went on to lead the PTSD clinic at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. He opened Advanced Psych Solutions, Inc. (APS Ketamine) in 2016 and has been with Symetria Recovery since 2017. Dr. Nazeer also serves as Vice President of the American Association of Psychedelics and fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
