What Is Suboxone® Treatment?

Suboxone® (buprenorphine-naloxone) is a once-a-day medicine that fits treatment around your life: one ingredient eases withdrawal and quiets cravings without a high, another discourages misuse. Medication is provided by our on-site pharmacy, and take-home dosing opens up as you progress.

Because Suboxone® only partly activates the receptors that opioids do, it has a ceiling: past a point the effect levels off, which keeps it steady and hard to misuse. Most people feel relief soon after starting. Your provider confirms you are in adequate withdrawal before your first dose.

20+ Years

of proven, FDA-approved use

On-Site Pharmacy

No retail counter refusing to fill your prescription

You do not have to rush off it

Suboxone® is long-term medicine, and many patients stay on it for months or years. You and your provider set the timeline, not a deadline.

How Suboxone® Works

When you come to our Fort Worth clinic, your provider sets a dose that fits you. Here is what Suboxone® does in your first days of treatment:

01

Stops Withdrawal

Relief comes within an hour or two of your first dose. Steady, not sedated.

02

Quiets Cravings

One morning dose holds you through the day, so you are not watching the clock.

03

Gives You Your Life Back

Take-home doses open up as you stabilize, so clinic trips thin out over time.

Is Suboxone® Right for You?

Our Fort Worth Suboxone® clinic fits people who want to get better without pausing their whole life. Suboxone® may be a fit if:

You would rather keep this discreet and on your own time.
You have done well on Suboxone® before.
You already have a provider’s recommendation for it.
You want a medicine you can eventually take home rather than dose on-site daily.
You want appointments that thin out as you stabilize.

Suboxone® Clinic Fort Worth: Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can I be seen at your Fort Worth Suboxone® clinic?

You can usually be seen the same day you call. Our admissions line runs 24/7 at 866-955-2481, and we book the soonest intake available. Whether your first dose happens that day depends on how far into withdrawal you are, which the provider checks at the visit.

Will I need to come in every day?

Early in treatment, your provider might want to see you more often while your dose settles. Visits at our Fort Worth Suboxone® clinic ease as you make progress, telehealth covers many follow-ups, and your provider decides when each step is safe.

Why does the on-site pharmacy matter?

Retail pharmacies sometimes delay or refuse to fill Suboxone®. We dispense it at our Fort Worth Suboxone® clinic instead, so your medication is ready the moment your provider clears your first dose, with no counter in the way.

Is switching from Methadone to Suboxone® possible?

Switching is common, and our providers guide it so that it is done safely. Timing matters when moving between the two. We plan it with you rather than rushing it.

Does Suboxone® show on a drug screen?

As part of treatment, our clinic uses point-of-care testing to confirm your medicine is being taken as prescribed. That information stays in your medication record, and we can share it with a referral source at your written request, with a valid release of information on file.

Can I take Suboxone® during pregnancy?

Buprenorphine-based medications, including Suboxone®, are considered appropriate treatment options for opioid use disorder during pregnancy. Continuing treatment matters: untreated opioid use disorder carries serious risks for both mother and baby. Our medical providers coordinate with your OB-GYN throughout your pregnancy.

What if Suboxone® is not the right fit?

If Suboxone® is not working for you, your provider adjusts the plan rather than starting over. Options include changing your dose, adding counseling sessions, treating depression or anxiety alongside it, or moving to Methadone. You stay in treatment either way while we find what works.

Is counseling required, and is it included?

Counseling is part of every patient’s treatment plan at our Fort Worth Suboxone® clinic, included at no extra cost. You meet with a counselor on a regular schedule, set your own recovery goals, and work through what is driving the use at a pace that fits you.

Does insurance cover treatment at your Fort Worth Suboxone® clinic?

Most major commercial plans and Medicare are accepted at our Texas locations, and self-pay is available if you are uninsured. Coverage varies by plan, so call 866-955-2481 and we will verify your coverage in minutes, before you ever book a visit.

Do you treat patients from outside Fort Worth?

Yes, patients come to us from across southwest Fort Worth and the surrounding communities. If another location is closer to you, Symetria also has clinics in Arlington, Hurst, and Lewisville. .
