Symetria Locations FAQ
Texas & Illinois Location Questions
How often do I have to come in to the clinic?
As often as you need. We offer suggestions, but you shouldn’t resent recovery or your treatment team. If you end up needing more support, just keep coming back. You have access to medications, mental health treatments, group therapy and unlimited one-on-one therapy — everything you need to stay well is here.
What if there's not a clinic near me?
We wish a clinic was closer to you to help! It’s always worth coming in, if possible — even if it’s farther than you hoped.
But, we also work with like-minded clinics across Illinois and Texas to get you a solid recommendation.
“It’s worth the two hour drive, since I live in Wisconsin now. They’re my biggest supporters in staying clean!”
– Gena F.
Are there services offered virtually?
Yes! Virtual sessions for IOP (group therapy) run throughout the week. There are also possibilities for virtual appointments during intake and for one-on-one therapy.
Do all Illinois and Texas clinics have Suboxone doctors?
Yes, all locations have on-site doctors and on-site pharmacies that distribute buprenorphine, including Suboxone.
Why Illinois and Texas?
Symetria started in Naperville, Illinois and expanded throughout the Chicago area before building out a similar presence in Texas.
Texas was selected after discussions with Blue Cross Blue Shield. The state needed a trusted, quality provider to help the surging opiate crisis in the state.
Are you opening more locations?
Yes! A location in Arlington, Texas that is opening soon. Several more locations are expected in Texas this year before we expand to other need-for-care state.
Can I switch locations?
Of course! Go to the location that works best for you.
