Masroor earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and later completed several Executive Education classes from Columbia Business School. He previously held FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 certifications. His career before Symetria spanned finance and operations leadership at several private-equity and venture-backed companies, including leadership roles at Physicians Interactive (now part of WebMD), Jellyvision and Factor 75 (now part of Hello Fresh). Masroor began his career in the Assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers and then several years in the New York and Chicago offices of Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking Division..

Under Masroor's leadership, Symetria has earned CARF Gold Seal accreditation, a distinction that only 22% of addiction treatment providers in the United States achieve, and recognition through the Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction program. He has overseen continued geographic expansion into Texas, and plans new clinic openings to bring Symetria's integrated outpatient model to communities that need it most. His operational focus allows Symetria to deliver a high-touch patient experience with low patient-to-provider ratios, same-day access, and comprehensive wraparound services.

Masroor's leadership philosophy centers on building the infrastructure and culture that allow clinical teams to do their best work. He invests in the systems, staffing, and operational processes that support Symetria's integrated care model, known as The Symetria Method, so that Symetria’s clinicians can deliver comprehensive outpatient treatment under one roof.
