Feel Happy Again

You Don't Have To Struggle with Drugs or Alcohol Alone

When you walk in, you feel the love. Not “tough love,” that’s ready to kick you out when you slip up. It’s a love without judgment that makes you want to be honest and loves you harder when you’re struggling.

There are no long lines. No dismissive doctors. Not dirty rooms. No judgment. It’s unlike any rehab or clinic you’ve ever been before. (That’s why our success rates are 80% higher).

This place is amazing. The staff is kind and works with you if you have to get to a job, etc. I’m so glad I switched from a state-funded clinic – major difference!

This is not your typical “methadone clinic”. The staff takes extra care in your recovery and are very proactive keeping you on the right track. I recommend Symetria to anyone looking for treatment by staff who genuinely care.

More Details on the Spring Suboxone, Methadone & IOP Programs

Unlimited therapy means you can schedule as many or as little appointments with your therapist as you want. One-on-one sessions predominantly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is the gold standard for addiction issues. You become able to recognize distortions in your thinking and reevaluate your thoughts in a healthy way. As needed, therapists utilize other methods like Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) for intensely difficult feelings, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to stop negative thinking rather than analyzing it, trauma-informed therapies or even family or couples counseling.

Suboxone (buprenorphine) is only FDA-approved for opioid addiction, which includes heroin, but also prescription pain pills like hydrocodone (Vicodin), oxycodone (OxyContin, Percocet), morphine, codeine and fentanyl. It can even be a step down for methadone. For alcohol, monthly Vivitrol injections are a better alternative to manage cravings.

You can come to IOP as long as you need. At least 90 days is recommended. From there, you may find medications and one-on-one therapy is enough to keep you healthy. If you have a slip, there’s no shame in re-enrolling in the IOP program. Get as much care as you need to stay on track until you don’t need the extra support anymore.

Your loved one is lucky to have your support, and you probably have more leverage than you think. Try gathering 3-5 other people that support the idea of treatment and approach your loved one together with care and concern (not anger or frustration). You can even call ahead of time so they can come in the same day. Unlike inpatient rehabs, a clinic is not a big ask. The goal is simply to get them to show up to an appointment.
