WE BELIEVE IN TREATING THE WHOLE PERSON, NOT
JUST THE ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOR
Statistics indicate that as many as 82% of opioid patients relapse after being treated, creating a cycle of treatment-relapse-treatment where the same patients are constantly moving into and out of costly, inconvenient, and ultimately, ineffective rehab centers.
We are passionately committed to providing an evidence-based treatment with an individualized focus on each patient that is proven to break the cycle of relapse and restoring our patients to health and happiness combined with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in an outpatient setting. We employ a multidisciplinary team approach; every patient works with his or her own physician, psychiatrist, nurse, counselor and other specialists, allowing us to treat the physical, psychological, and emotional components of addiction.
We call our innovative, evidence-based, approach to opioid addiction treatment the Symetria Method®® which combines MAT and behavioral counseling in an outpatient setting at our Symetria Recovery® treatment centers.
Outpatient treatment is an important dimension of our philosophy and treatment approach. As our opioid addiction specialists have repeatedly observed, inpatient rehabilitation centers can “set a patient up” for relapse by providing — then abruptly removing — medical and psychological support structures. They can also be costly and difficult to access, especially for patients who cannot leave work or family while undergoing treatment.
By providing care on an outpatient basis, we improve both access and the effectiveness of treatment patients receive. Our unique blend of outpatient MAT and counseling is proven to reduce the risk of relapse and give our patients the best possible chance of achieving lasting sobriety.
