What is an outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment center?

An outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment center offers all the same treatments as inpatient rehab but allows patients to remain at home, living their life, taking care of family responsibilities, going to work, etc. during treatment. Patients receive medications to stop cravings and withdrawals and can meet with a therapist one-on-one as often as they want, participate in group therapy, IOP, take advantage of family therapy, and many other additional programs. At Symetria Recovery®, patients can also see a psychiatrist and understand any dual diagnosis. (Related mental health conditions are treated here, too, including antidepressants or trauma therapy).
