What Our Patients Say
Get Answers About Drug and Alcohol Addiction Care in Spring
What are the unlimited addiction therapies with the methadone program?
Is Suboxone® for heroin addiction only?
Suboxone® is only FDA-approved for opioid addiction, which includes heroin, but also prescription pain pills like hydrocodone (Vicodin), oxycodone (OxyContin, Percocet), morphine, codeine, and fentanyl. It can even be a step down for methadone.
How long does the IOP program last?
You can come to IOP as long as you need. At least 90 days is recommended. From there, you may find that medications and one-on-one therapy is enough to keep you healthy. If you have a slip, there’s no shame in re-enrolling in the IOP program. Get as much care as you need to stay on track until you don’t need the extra support anymore.
How can I convince someone to get help at the Spring clinic?
Your loved one is lucky to have your support, and you probably have more leverage than you think. Try gathering 3-5 other people that support the idea of treatment and approach your loved one together with care and concern (not anger or frustration). You can even call ahead of time so they can come in the same day.
