Senior Vice President of Operations
Paul Cassidy, in his capacity as Senior Vice President of Operations for Symetria Health, is responsible for execution of the Symetria Recovery strategic plan and adherence to The Symetria Method. Paul is an accomplished clinical program developer and behavioral health administrator with expertise in treating addictions since 1990.
Paul served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry, Division of Law and Psychiatry. Paul has lectured extensively to professional audiences, primarily on topics regarding Medication Assisted Addiction Treatment, Relapse Prevention, Neurobiology and Addiction Treatment, and the Effectiveness of Coerced Addiction Treatment.
In addition to providing consulting services nationwide, Paul co-founded Access Recovery Solutions in 2009, functioning as their Chief Operations Officer. He also served as Vice President of Outpatient Operations for Townsend Recovery, a Regional Outpatient Treatment Provider managing fifteen locations across five states. He also served as the Executive Director of Twelve Oaks, a 94 bed detoxification and residential addiction treatment center in the Florida Panhandle.
Paul earned his Master of Social Work degree from Southern University at New Orleans in 1997, and his Bachelor of General Studies with concentrations in Communications, Sociology, and History from the University of New Orleans in 1993. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Florida.
